The Packers Have a Lot to Clean Up if They Want to Be Serious Contenders

Image
Photo via Madison Morris, packers.com After watching the Green Bay Packers tie the Dallas Cowboys last night, there are three common themes I’ve noticed since the Packers won their last Super Bowl. Each season, the Packers hurt themselves through either injuries, self-inflicted mistakes, or playing down to their opponent instead of playing to win. Last night, there were a million reasons the Packers should’ve lost that game. There were also a million reasons they should’ve won. I’m going to hold off on the offensive slander until later, even though it was a huge factor in them not winning this game. The defense was abysmal. The juice we saw from this unit the first three games of the season was nowhere to be found. I’m not sure where it went, especially considering the magnitude of this game around Micah Parsons’ return to Dallas. Credit to Parsons for playing his butt off and getting held almost every play (get used to it folks, the NFL loves offense). There was no help from the surro...

Instead of Saying the Packers Sucked, Let’s Be Grateful They Got Humbled Early in the Season

Image
Photo via Evan Siegle, packers.com                  As Micah Parsons put it plainly in his postgame press conference, “Sometimes… you just shit the bed.” That is exactly what happened to the Packers in today’s loss against the Browns. It was one of those days for Micah Parsons and the Packers 😅 pic.twitter.com/Lf2bzubyL3 — SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) September 21, 2025            Credit to the Browns who could’ve came into this game and just rolled over. They didn’t. Instead, they showed they have one of the top defenses in the NFL and capitalized on a Packers’ offense that never could get it going. They got the job done regardless of how many injuries the Packers offensive line had. They had Jordan Love in a blender all game long and he never was comfortable.            This is probably one of the worst regular season losses I have ever seen from the Packers during the Matt ...

The Packers Dominated The Lions

Image
Photo via Evan Siegle, packers.com     I still cannot believe how bad the Green Bay Packers dominated the Detroit Lions to open the season. I just can't.      The Packers came out rolling on offense. Jordan Love had all day in the pocket to dink and dunk his way down the field. They capped off the opening drive after Love made a nasty throw through a tight window to none other than Tucker Kraft to go up 7-0 early. His second touchdown pass went to Jayden Reed who I really didn’t think would be relevant in this game considering his injury status going in. The final touchdown came from Josh Jacobs who earned it after putting the offense on his back in the second half.      The Pack never looked back after that opening touchdown The defense played with more juice than we’ve seen in a long time. They were flying around all game long and had 11 hats to the football every play. The Packers’ run defense was dominant all game long too. The receipts are in...

The Packers NEED To Beat The Lions On Sunday

Image
This is a must win game on Sunday for the Packers.      A lot of people will say that is just desperate considering it’s the first game of the season. I think that’s the perfect reason to win it.       The Detroit Lions have won the NFC North back-to-back seasons now. They have come into Lambeau Field and beaten the Packers the last three times. Since November 6 th , 2022, the Lions are 5-1 against the Green Bay Packers. Now I won’t mention the Detroit Lion’s trophy case, but I will give credit where credit is due. Since Dan Campbell took over as head coach, they have had the Packers number. That all needs to change on Sunday. 2022: Lions @ Packers- WIN 2023: Lions @ Packers- WIN 2024: Lions @ Packers- WIN Marshmallows Make Magic 🥶❄️ Hey @Lions … 👀 pic.twitter.com/MLPTsIketD — Natalie Sparbeck (@NatSparbeck) September 5, 2025      The time is now for the Packers. No, I’m not saying that only because of the addition...

We Got Our Reggie

Image
I still cannot believe that Jerry Jones let this guy go. Micah Parsons is an absolute stud, and if anybody tells you differently, they are just mad jealous. Two first-round picks and Kenny Clark? You gotta be kidding me, right? I wish we could listen to the negotiations Jerry was having with other teams, because this trade is a straight-up robbery. Just an absolute fleece job by Gutey and the Packers’ front office. I can promise you this: Teams across the entire NFL are laughing at Jerry Jones and the #Cowboys right now. For so many reasons. But I’ll leave you with this: the fact they traded a generational player in Micah Parsons one week before the season is diabolical. https://t.co/qQuPZflOq7 — Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) August 28, 2025      The thought that instantly came to mind when this trade happened for me personally was this: We got our Reggie. Rest in peace to a legend and Packers’ icon. This is arguably the biggest move the Pa...

Green Bay Packers 2025 NFL Draft Recap

Image
Ladies and gentlemen, here is your 2025 Green Bay Packers NFL Draft Recap. First off, you gotta hand the city of Green Bay their flowers. The city did not disappoint at all hosting the NFL Draft for the first time ever. 600,00 football guys and girls made their way up to Lambeau Field for one of the most iconic drafts of all time. The highlight of the draft easily was Packers CEO Mark Murphy announcing the team’s first-round selection, Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden. The pop that he got when announced was something straight out of 90s WWF. THE DROUGHT IS OVER 📺: NFL Draft on NFL Network April 24-26 pic.twitter.com/hFJFTh3jZv — Green Bay Packers (@packers) April 25, 2025 Now let’s grade the Packers draft because that’s what everyone is doing at this point. Disclaimer! I am not a college football expert whatsoever. I am grading this draft based of the Packers needs, vibes, and maybe a little bit of bias. Matthew Golden Gol...

The Green Bay Packers Top 5 NEEDS This Offseason

Image
There’s been a lot of talk about what the Packers need personnel wise going into next season. The big question is what do they need most? Some would argue a pass rusher or two considering the team that just won the Super Bowl didn’t blitz once. Others would say a true number one receiver to make the clutch plays when the Packers need them. There’s plenty of valid excuses for each position that needs to be improved upon going into next season. As for Real Packer Fans Know, here are the top five NEEDS the Packers have going into next season from least to most important.              5. Linebacker                    Before you say it, yes, Edgerrin Cooper is a DAWG. He is a star in the making and the best draft pick the Packers made from last season. Other than Cooper, the Packers could use another run stopper across the middle of the field. ...
