The city did not disappoint at all hosting the NFL Draft for the first time ever. 600,00 football guys and girls made their way up to Lambeau Field for one of the most iconic drafts of all time. There’s been a lot of talk about what the Packers need personnel wise going into next season. The big question is what do they need most? Some would argue a pass rusher or two considering the team that just won the Super Bowl didn’t blitz once. Others would say a true number one receiver to make the clutch plays when the Packers need them. There’s plenty of valid excuses for each position that needs to be improved upon going into next season. In fact, they’re in the perfect position to do so. First off, let’s address the Lions' defensive injuries. No one roots for them, but you can’t deny they boost the Packers’ chances. On the last play of the game, the Packers snatched victory from the jaws of defeat when Karl Brooks blocked Cairo Santos’ would-be game-winning field goal, crushing the hearts of Bears fans everywhere. They had no business winning this game, especially with how sluggish they looked coming out of the bye week. Things started strong with an opening-drive touchdown, but from there it felt like they never got the ball again. Kudos to the Bears offense who after ridding of the cancer that was Shane Waldron, looked very competent. The Bears controlled the clock and time of possession in this game, plus Caleb Williams looked good. He made the big plays when he needed too but, bad-coaching sealed the fate of the Bears’ fate once again....

After all the offseason talk about Caleb Williams and the big free-agent pickups, the Bears still suck, and nothing’s changed. Honestly, it’s kind of hilarious. I don’t think I’ve heard more preseason trash talk from Bears fans before this year. They acted like they had it all figured out, but guess what? They don’t. The Bears have fallen off a cliff after starting 4-2, losing their last three games to the Commanders, Cardinals, and Patriots. Their offensive line is a disaster, Caleb Williams holds the ball too long, and Matt Eberflus is, without a doubt, the worst coach in the NFL. The decisions this team keeps making are mind-blowing.
