Packers, Tucker Kraft Agree to 4-Year Extension Worth More Than $90 Million

 

The Green Bay Packers and Tucker Kraft agreed on a new deal worth up to $92 million through the 2030 season, with a $26.5 million guaranteed signing bonus.

The numbers of this deal are technically unofficial until filed with the NFLPA. However, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Kraft’s salary for this season, including the $26.5 million signing bonus, is in the ballpark of $1.224 million, along with a $50,000 workout bonus.

In 2027, Kraft will earn a base salary of about $1.5 million, a $4.425 million roster bonus, a $950,000 per-game active bonus and a $500,000 workout bonus.

In 2028, the base salary stays the same, along with an $8.525 million roster bonus, the same per-game bonus and the same workout bonus.

The 2029 and 2030 seasons are where the salary numbers jump, as the base salary will be around $14.525 million with the same roster bonus and workout bonus.

Kraft will also secure $250,000 bonuses in the 2028-30 seasons for each Pro Bowl and All-Pro nod.

Kraft’s season statistics will also play a factor in bonuses depending on whether he reaches specific numbers for receptions, yards and touchdowns.

The Packers have conducted deals such as this for years, keeping the majority of the salary up front in a signing bonus with flexibility on the back end in favor of the team.

The Packers have now secured the future of their offense with the Kraft deal completed after previously signing Christian Watson and Jayden Reed to contract extensions.
