Jordan Love Is All the Way Back After the Packers Whomped the Cardinals 34-13

The Packers straight-up DOMINATED the Cardinals on Sunday. This is the squad we've been dying to see. Offense humming, defense snatching balls, and Jordan Love? He’s officially all the way back (not like he ever really left).

Love was great. He looked cool and calm in the pocket tossing dimes all day long. After the injury scare, we needed a full game from him, and he gave us just that. He threw 22/32 for four touchdowns and a 119.5 passer rating. That’s back-to-back 4 TD games, something a Packers QB hasn’t done since Brett Favre in 1995.

Shoutout to the offensive line, just an absolute unit out there. They held it down as the best pass-blocking line in the league, and the wild part? Not a single first-round pick, every guy was drafted by the Packers. Nobody develops big boys like the green and gold.

The Packers' weapons had a day. Specifically, Romeo Doubs, who was the story of the week following his suspension after missing practice last week. Doubs got into the end zone twice on two insane Jordan Love throws. His second touchdown came on a moonshot throw as Love was falling backward. The way he tracked that ball was special. It was also great to see him celebrate with the boys after all the drama from last week. Felt like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders and you gotta feel happy for him. Christian Watson also found the end zone after returning from injury this week, and obviously, Jayden Reed got into the gold zone.

As for the defense? Just a turnover factory, adding three fumble recoveries to their season total thanks to Kenny Clark, Karl Brooks, and Jaire Alexander. The defensive front deserves a lot of credit after the job they did containing Kyler Murray. He was kept in check on the ground, and they didn’t let him get going through the air. Kenny Clark had a great game after a quiet start to the year, and Karl Brooks continues to prove why he belongs on the field. It is also with great sadness that I must share that Xavier McKinney didn’t get an interception today. Horrible, right? He’s still the DPOY, though, don’t @ me.

The only blemish on this masterpiece of a win? Brayden Narveson...my man, the misses gotta stop. Following another miss today, he leads the NFL in missed field goals so far this season. It’s insane how good all these other kickers are, and the Packers can’t find a guy who’s just average. We’ve seen this play out before and know how important a kicker is come playoff time. Feels like it’s time to bring in some competition for Narv-Dog.

Overall, a hell of a win by the green and gold. The Packers have a big test next week against a Texans team that just dominated the Patriots on the road. They will be without their star wide-out Nico Collins but still have plenty of guys to spread the ball around to. With Jordan Love fully healthy, a strong offensive line, and a turnover-factory defense, the Packers are poised for a big win next Sunday. Hopefully.
