The Packers Destroyed the Vikings on SNF

I have two words for you…Jayden Reed!

What an impressive performance from the green and gold in primetime against the Vikings. They dominated in every aspect of this game as they should’ve. Jayden Reed is easily the steal of the draft this season and this game proved it even more. The connection between Love and Reed is something special, and the future looks very bright for the Packers.

The defense in this game deserves their flowers too. Granted Jaren Hall was playing quarterback, but they needed a game like this to get their confidence back up. They brought pressure all night and produced turnovers, something we have barely seen this season. This game didn’t save Joe Barry’s job by any means, and I don’t know if anything he does will. Credit to him though for calling a great game that helped get this team closer to a playoff spot. It should also be mentioned that Corey Ballentine, yes Corey Ballentine, locked up Justin Jefferson.

Just like that, the Packers are back in the same position of controlling their destiny just like the end of last season. With a win against the Bears in week 18, the Packers can clinch a spot in the playoffs this season. It’s insane to look at how much of an emotional rollercoaster this season has been as a fan. At one point, the Packers lost four in a row and the sky was falling. But credit to Matt LaFleur for rallying the troops and keeping this team together through the thick of it this season. Jordan Love’s play in the second half of the season has energized this team and has surely solidified him as the next franchise quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.
