Packers First Half Review



The halftime score comes in at 10-6 in favor of Green Bay

The Packers’ defense performed exceptionally well, holding the Bears offense to 6 points. The missed tackles have been a problem but the defensive pressure up front saved them on multiple occasions.

The Packer offense started off with great field position and capitalized with a touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Romeo Doubs.

(It looked freaking awesome!)

What would I like to see in the second half from Green Bay? It’s simple, give Aaron Jones the football! He had five touches on the first drive, and they scored. After that, he didn’t touch the rock again and we haven’t seen a touchdown since.

 Give Jones the ball and our chances of scoring are higher.

Now, the defense looked great, especially the pressure up front. My only problem is the tackling by the secondary on broken plays has caused them to give up a ton of yards. If the tackling can improve in the second half, the Packers should be able to coast to a victory today.

Overall, I have loved the energy and excitement from this Green Bay team early, with all the points made before, I believe this game start off the season with a Packer win.

There’s been a lot of talk about what the Packers need personnel wise going into next season. The big question is what do they need most? Some would argue a pass rusher or two considering the team that just won the Super Bowl didn’t blitz once. Others would say a true number one receiver to make the clutch plays when the Packers need them. It’s Packers vs. Bears Week, and It Doesn’t Feel the Same

Evan Siegle, packers.com, Jacob Funk, chicagobears.com I think it’s been pretty clear the Bears week doesn’t feel the same this season. After all the offseason talk about Caleb Williams and the big free-agent pickups, the Bears still suck, and nothing’s changed. Honestly, it’s kind of hilarious. I don’t think I’ve heard more preseason trash talk from Bears fans before this year. They acted like they had it all figured out, but guess what? They don’t. The Bears have fallen off a cliff after starting 4-2, losing their last three games to the Commanders, Cardinals, and Patriots. Their offensive line is a disaster, Caleb Williams holds the ball too long, and Matt Eberflus is, without a doubt, the worst coach in the NFL. The decisions this team keeps making are mind-blowing.
