Packers Season Ends in Classic Playoff Loss to the Bears

Image
Photo Credit: Evan Siegle, packers.com It’s so hard to believe that it’s really not that hard to believe. Unbelievable things kept happening that every Packer fan could see coming from a mile away on Saturday night at Soldier Field. No matter how crazy they were, the writing was on the wall this entire season. For 16 years, we have been blessed with winning Packers football and chances to play in the postseason. The results? Nothing but sheer heartbreak. The Games: 2013 WC vs. SF - Led 17-13 until 10:31 left. Packers vs. Bears III: All or Nothing

Image
Photo Credit: Evan Siegle, packers.com There’s no other way to put or describe this game between the Packers and Bears on Saturday night. All or Nothing. If the Bears lose to the Packers will it be considered a losing season? "Everything the Bears have accomplished, everything the Bears have done, every positive sentiment is gone if the Packers go in and end their season." - @stoolpresidente pic.twitter.com/7ndv5pcl45 — Wake Up Barstool (@wakeupbarstool) January 5, 2026   Matt LaFleur put it best in one of his press conferences earlier this week. He said, “Ultimately it’s about what you do on that day.” That is exactly the case for Saturday’s game. The Packers have had the definition of a rollercoaster season, starting with two statement wins, a loss to the Browns, a tie against the Cowboys, to holding the one seed in the NFC, season-ending injuries to key players, and ending the season on a 4-game losing streak (oof). This game against the Bears is a chance to wipe the sla...

Packers Sign Trevon Diggs; Jordan Love Ruled Out Sunday vs. Vikings

Image
Photo Credit: Evan Siegle, packers.com Some good news and bad news ahead of the Packers matchup on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Let’s start with the good news. Jordan Love has cleared concussion protocol and is back to practicing fully. This is massive news for the G and G, as they get their starting quarterback back just in time for the playoff push. The Packers also added some more depth at corner, signing Trevon Diggs after he was released by the Cowboys. Although Diggs’ numbers are not as pretty as some may like, the Packers defense desperately needed bodies at the corner position, ...

Packers Lose to Bears in 2014 NFC Championship Rerun: Players Need to Make Plays When It Counts

Image
Photo Credit: Madison Morris, packers.com The Packers lost to the Bears on Saturday night in a game where they did everything wrong to lose the game. From a botched onside kick to a deep bomb that sealed the game in overtime, it felt like dΓ©jΓ  vu. Pretty similar to another classic Packers collapse, the 2014 NFC title game against the Seattle Seahawks. Packers fans just relived the 2014 NFC Championship Game. - The double-digit lead late in the 4th - The botched onside kick recovery - The over the shoulder winning TD in OT pic.twitter.com/vgkBdHYD1m — Brendan Sugrue (@BrendanSugrue) December 21, 2025   On the bright side, this was just a regular season game. On the downside, it was against the Bears. There is some context to this loss, as Jordan Love left the game after 17 plays due to a concussion he sustained. Malik Willis came in and was completely serviceable until his fumble in overtime. Credit to the Bears though, the vibes around their team have completely turned around than...

And Just Like That, Micah Parsons Suffers a Possible ACL Tear and the Packers’ Season Is Turned Upside Down After a Third-Quarter Nightmare Against the Broncos

Image
It’s hard to put into words. If the Packers had simply lost this game to the Broncos and nobody got hurt, we wouldn’t be as down in the dumps as we are right now. Instead, we got the worst of both worlds. When Micah Parsons went down with a noncontact knee injury in the third quarter, I have never seen the life get sucked out of a stadium so fast. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Not only did Parsons go down, but so did Christian Watson with a chest injury, Zach Tom with a knee injury, and Evan Williams ...

Christian Watson Had a Monster Day Against the Bears

Image
Photo Credit: Evan Siegle, packers.com The Packers beat the Bears 28 to 21 on Sunday on the backs of a big performance from Christian Watson and a game-sealing interception from Keisean Nixon. The Packers now sit as the current 2-seed in the NFC behind the Los Angeles Rams and ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles. The Packers were not perfect on Sunday but made the big plays when they needed to. Christian Watson had a monster game, hauling in 4 receptions for 89 yards and two touchdowns. The return of Watson to the Packers offense has been a godsend for this unit. The biggest part of Watson’s game is his deep threat ability, being able to take the top off the defense which the Packers desperately needed. His ability to beat man-to-man coverage paired with his strong hands has added an important element to this offense. The Packers Can Put the Lions in the Rearview Mirror with a Win on Thanksgiving

Image
Photo Credit: Evan Siegle, packers.com The Packers have a chance to really solidify themselves in the race for the NFC North on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions. The Lions have been the kings of the North the past few seasons and in dominant fashion. With a win on Thursday, the Packers would improve to 3 and 0 in the NFC North while the Lions would fall to 1 and 3. The Packers win against the Vikings on Sunday was the first game in a while where they took control and never looked back. It may have been more of a conservative approach from the Packers offense considering Jordan Love’s injury and Josh Jacobs also not playing. The defense was in control the entire game as the Packers built their lead slowly. Love him or hate him, Matt LaFleur definitely had Thursday’s game against the Lions in mind. PACKERS PICK OFF J.J.
